Self Emotion
You may be wondering what is self emotion. I personally went through a moment in life where I had to control my self emotion.It's been awhile seen my last post and I went through a life changing journey.
Throughout my journey, I had learn about emotional self awareness and being able to control it in any situation that is given. Self emotion is to check in your sensory experience regularly.
To control self emotion intelligently, here are a few tips I would like to share with you.

1. Get out of your comfort zone
- Getting out of your comfort zone can be hard at times because our subconscious feels comfortable with the familiar environment, giving low levels of anxiety and stress. To overcome such emotion, one have to switch their mindset to become more aware of their emotion and to understand that the limit is all in the mind and to explore outside of the comfort zone.
2. Understanding what triggers you
- Knowing what can tick you off easily is very important as you can try to avoid it. For example if you are in a situation where you're being ask to do something you don't want or having someone controlling over you. it can trigger you to become negative. To overcome such emotion, you can try to adapt to the situation or the way you think about the situation and turn it into something positive. But also to understand that it is normal to have emotional triggers as we are only human.
3. Don't make hasty decision (especially when you're in a bad mood)
- It is very risky to make decision without thinking it through, especially if the mind is in a bad place. One of the most popular suggestion to avoid making hasty decision is to give it 24 hours so as there will be less pressure when you deicide on a conclusion. Having patience and being calm while talking yourself through the facts before deciding the final decision is also very important.
4. Deep breath and remove what can cause negative emotions
- Sometime being negative can be addictive. The best way is to take on a hobby that you enjoy doing or even relaxing at a beach and taking on a short vacation to relax and calm your mind also helps.
